If you’re worried that the mainline side will come unclipped it’s not a problem we’ve had. You can snip off a piece of anti tangle sleeve or silicone tube to cover the loop for extra security.
They allow you to not only change out your rigs, you are able to change out your lead size/style, switch from inline to lead clip, or remove the lead for when you’re storing your rods.
They fit lead clips but have different tightness depending on the brand. Fox do not grip the swivel at all. ESP and Ashima fit the best. Due to the lead clips not being designed for these swivels the pegs that some have do not fit to hold them swivel in the lead clip.
As with all QC swivels avoid bending the swivel when doing the packbait/method around the lead.
