Place the NITECORE R40 Flashlight in its charging base and connect the base to a 230V socket or to the car cigarette lighter and the charging process begins.

It comes has a wall-mounted charging base that provides safe and stable contact for the correct charging process. In addition, it also has a desktop charging base that offers great convenience in placing and removing the torche quickly.

An adapter is also included in the package to supply power from the car cigarette lighter while on the back of the lens there is a covered USB-C charging port so that the flashlight can be charged outside of the charging bases from any power supply with a USB port such as an adapter grid, a solar panel or a power bank.

Nitecore’s R40 flashlight features multiple charging safety features to protect against overcharging, overdischarging or short circuiting. In addition, it has a function of automatic termination of charging after its completion.

Included in the package is a specially designed for this flashlight Li-ion rechargeable battery 21700 / 5000mAh with long life, high energy intensity and very strong performance.

This particular Nitecore flashlight is user friendly with two control switches, a power switch for on/off and an option switch.

When the flashlight is off, a long press of the Option Switch turns the flashlight on at its strongest intensity of 1200 Lumens

After inserting the battery, or if the Option Switch is pressed when the flashlight is off, the indicator light below the side switches will start flashing to indicate the battery voltage to the nearest 0.1V.
