Here comes a squid jig design by Croatian company DTD, that pushes the boundaries even further. The Retro Bukva series resembles a fish that is injured, or has been attacked by the Anilocra Physodes parasite and as a result has been weakened, or is slower in its reactions. This makes the fish look more volunerable and subject to an attack by a squid.
Based on this observation, DTD added on the exterior of the Retro Bukva body a parasite mock-up, in order to trigger the squid sensors and make them more aggressive towards the jig.
Retro Bukva is fully equipped with the most glowing phosphorus we have ever seen on a squid jig, in the shape of the fish’s backbone.
The innovations do not stop here.DTD created and applied in the Retro Bukva squid jigs the transparent contrast body, which allows light to go through the jig’s body, but at the same time retains elements that create a contrast. The result is nothing less thanimpressive.
