When evaluating hook quality, it is important to single out the most important factor for hook penetration, the wire diameter. The new Owner STX-58TN Treble hooks feature a new type of wire that is 20% stronger than the high carbon steel currently used in all Owner Hooks. This new Taff Wire helps create hooks that are smaller in diameter, yet stronger and harder than ever before.
The Owner STX-58TN are stronger per wire diameter, than any hook on the market. The hardness of Taff Wire makes the point almost indestructible.
They are of standard length, straight shank, slightly curved-in super needle points, with a corrosion resistant vacuum tin finish.
Currently available in a range of seven different sizes: 6, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0, the Owner Stinger STX-58TN Treble hooks are ideal in size and weight for large volume lures, such as the DUO Aomasa.
