Turn any soft, silicone bait, into a prop bait with the Decoy Screw Worm 106 hook, featuring an inline, propeller style blade before the hook eye, that spins and flashes and buzzes during retrieve. The use of small props on lures has become increasingly popular, especially in top water baits.
Due to the double blades, the Decoy Screw Worm 106 hook provides an added element of attraction to your silicone baits, helping them to stand out and attract the attention of top water predators. The slight vibrations emitted by the bladesirritate seabass’lateral line sense, which detects irregularities in water movement – similar to the idea behind a chatter bait, but with a much subtler vibration.
The addition of the prop also serves to slow down the sinking rate during descend.
Decoy used a wide gap, offset shoulder hook as a basis for the Screw Worm 106 hook, which is ideal for rigging a wide variety of soft lures.
