The secret of the Yo-Zuri Patapata is that it takes longer to sink, after being jerked, appealing better and giving to squids the opportunity to attack. Its movement is slower and more gentle, minimizing the chances of the squid jig getting tangled up in the bottom.
All in all, with the Patapata model, Yo-Zuri gave birth to the Slow Eging technique. The longer pause that takes place between a jerk and the squid jig starting to sink again, was named Charm Pause by Yo-Zuri, as its intention is to clearly charm the squids around it.
The sinking rate is slower than in other squid jigs, as it takes 5.5 secs to sink one meter.
The Patapata Q Slow has the Yo-Zuri Ultra Shape Body which minimizes water resistance and reduces the burden on your arm during jerking and retrieve. With this design you can cast squid jigs all day, without fatigue.
