The Xesta Slow Pitch Emotion Slippy is a new jig for Slow Jigging. Thanks to its slim, but unique in design shape, will create intense vibrations in the water, with its rapid zig-zag movement during descent. Its motion is an irresistible attraction for any predator, while during retrieve its movement is horizontal, simulating the posture of a live squid.
The Xesta Slow Pitch Emotion Slippy retrieve is simpler with less water resistance, so less challenging than a classic slow jig.
Xesta observed that many times, predators attack the jig while this freely falls. A weak fish will rise towards the surface, or move in a weary motion horizontally. Just when it begins moving downwards again, this is when predators attack. However, in order for the metal jig to fall, it is necessary to retrieve it by the equivalent distance. So Xesta focuced on the idea to make the short retrieval attractive in the eyes of predators, as the idea of an attack during descent, actually starts in the retrieval phase.
As a result, Xesta, employed certain construction techniques and reduced the resistance of water on the jig during retrieve, irrespectively of the depth of the water, by cutting incisions to the left and right, to actually produce a rising bait.
Xesta designed the Slow Emotion Slippy to flash during descent and appeal intensively to the surrounding environment of the strike zone, even under a small amount of light.
