The concept of the Sandeel series began from a 3D scanning of a baby Sandeel. Ever since, this series by acclaimed company Savage Gear, has gained models for all lure fishing techniques, both for boat and coastal spinning.
Surf Walkers are top water lures, which specialize in the On-the-Surface, or Subsurface Walk the Dog style and in Skipping. Their elongated, slender body, makes them slide easily on the surface and their rear weight, apart from an incredibly long cast, allows them to hold their front part outside the water, during retrieve. These incredible surface lures are made with strong ABS material, they are painted, coated and equipped with sturdy treble hooks in such a way, so as to last long after hours and hours of intense top water game and repeated predatory attacks.
The Savage Gear Sandeel Surf Walkers have been designed in Sinking and Floating versions. The floating version includes models starting at 12.5 cm and 10 gr, up to models of 21 cm at 44 gr. The sinking version starts at 15.5 cm at 23 gr, up to 18 cm at 37 gr. It thus covers all top water techniques and all surface lure requirements, for various types of lure fishing, including but not limited to Light Rock Fishing, Hard Rock Fishing to Heavy Spinning. As far as colors are concerned, Surf Walkers are painted into realistic colors inspired from common Mediterranean baitfish such as Sardine, Mackerel, baby Barracuda, but they are also produced into classic but vivid, reaction bait colors.
