The Valiant is the first of an entire new generation of reels designed with CVX technology by Accurate. Created with precision, powerful performance in mind, it has proven itself globally in a short period of time. The curved design of the frame and side plate allowed Accurate to design a reel that is incredibly light, but extremely strong.

Using the latest in manufacturing technology, Accurate is able to produce reels that are incredibly lightweight, yet strong enough to easily handle big fish. The Accurate Boss Valiant BV-300S & BV-500N Single-Speed Lever Drag reel is the narrow version of the particular series and brings more capacity in a narrow spool that is perfect for jigging and bottom fishing. Anglers will love this style of reel, because with the taller frame, the line collects better onto the reel when jigging. It is also less work for the angler to guide the line onto the reel.

The real breakthrough though is that Accurate managed to cut down a lot of weight from the reel, by removing material from the body and plate of the reel, even by the gear box. The BV-300S and BV-500N areconstructed of aluminum and feature Accurate’s patented Twin Drag system that puts out 25+ Lbs of drag at max. At the same time Accurate did not compromise the stability, power and rigidity of the Valiant. It has stainless steel gears that can handle big fish and will last a long time, stainless steel ball bearings, and a huge anti-reverse bearing for precision and performance. This bearing eliminates the chance of failure.

There is a clicker on the side plate. The lever drag system is progressive with a single stop at strike and no button to push when you want to move towards full. Together, all of these features add up to a reel that weighs just 420 gr.

In addition to being the lightest series of reels on the market, the Valiant has incredible free spool, allowing for you to fish the reel all day and focus on fighting the fish, not your tackle.
