The Daiwa Emeraldas Boat RV squid jigs, have been designed specifically for fishing Cuttlefish and Squid from a boat. This particular Emeraldas jig model by Daiwa will allow you to easily scan the water column from your boat. You can therefore fish drift and cover the different layers of water before reaching the bottom.
Equipped with an internal ballast at the level of the head as well as an external ballast under the lure, this jigger of 30 grams descends quickly, but offers good stability during vertical animations.
Its high eyelet promotes animations by very long pulls while limiting snags. This jigger is ideal for fishing in “tip-run” which consists of fishing in the drift of the boat to move the lure in the different layers of water to the bottom.
This version of Daiwa jigs is equipped with noisy tungsten spheres to attract the species sought from a distance. Squid and cuttlefish will simply not be able to resist.
