The 8X Monster braid has been produced with a very tight weaving process and as a result does not withhold water. This benefits us when fishing vertically, as the motion of the jig is not affected and the braid is reeled in almost dry. LineLab has paid enormous attention to this feature not letting the braid affect the jigs motion and produced the Tokuryo Monster in the thinnest possible diameters in the PE scale. While most Japanese and non-Japanese manufacturers build their braids in thicker widths, LineLab has managed to produce the Tokuryo Monster in thinner diameter but with increased strength. For example, the PE # 3.0 braid looks and feels and performs as a PE #2.5 in terms of the width, but withholds the stamina of the PE #3.0 and more. As a result, the Tokuryo Monster is an Ultra-Strong braid that does not affect the motion of our jigs, does not get affected by currents as it is thinner, tighter and does not withhold water. At the same time it is abrasion resistant in case it comes in contact with rocks, and achieves long casts for the very same reasons.

Even the craftiest of fish will fall for the silky soft, exceptionally strong Monster braid, which does not carry along vibrations or noise to our jig, as a result of flowing through the guides.
