The Palms Nap Deep lure has a totally unusual elliptical shape and a lip placed in such way that it provides an amazing swimming action. Indeed the Nap Deep has the shape of a crescent and its color pattern is on top and bottom of the lure, not the sides. With a simple, fast, or slow retrieval this small technological miracle by Palms gets to life and action just as if we were doing intense and sharp twitching. Rig one Nap Deep to the end of your line and you will truly admire the way that the fishes react to that kind of swimming action.

We have tested this Palm masterpiece with bottom feeding species, with White and Saddled Seabreams and had an amazing performance. It even attracted Barracudas. You should use the Nap Deep to fish in shallow waters, around rocky places, even with waves, because this lure sinks from the first cranks. You wont believe how easily the fishes get tricked by the manic movement of the Nap Deep.

With its gravity center placed low and with great buoyancy, Palms wanted to make a small lure that mimics a small wounded baitfish, which is close to dying – its posture when we pause, reminds to predators exactly that, while its basic movement conveys vulnerability. The most important feature though, is that this lure only by a slow retrieve stays for plenty of time at a more or less fixed spot, making lots of wobbling, something that provokes the instincts of the fishes even when they are not actively feeding.
