The Xesta Shad Star silicone baits, are ideally combined with the Black Star jig head series to create a more natural, bait-like effect. You will notice that the Shad Star silicone, resumes a horizontal position, even when set on the hook.
The Shad Star is a next generation silicone bait that has been equipped with a V-shaped tail, that produces a wave motion. The V-shaped, shad tail makes the tail wobble and appeals to rockfish both during falling and retrieve. The ribs on the side of the body, play a secondary role as they generate vibrations in the water, a feature that can be utilized to strengthen the effectiveness of the worm. This feature makes them ideal for rigging with the Bullet Rib jig heads.
In addition, Xesta enhanced the colors and aromas of the worms to increase the appeal to the fishs appetite and predatory instincts.
