This small runner is the re-birth of the very successful Gravity Pencil, with the addition of a lip. The Savage Gear Gravity Minnow opens the door to a number of fishing styles, other than Light Rock Fishing. It will even find its way into the tackle box of Light Trolling boat enthusiasts.
If you have ever wondered why there are so few floating lures of 5 cm of length, the answer is “because they can not reach far”.
The sinking version of the Gravity Minnow 50S at 4.3 g has been designed to respond to any condition, everywhere and always. It has the perfect analogy between an explosive cast, lively movement and is ideal for fishing in both calm and turbulant weather conditions. There is a similar type of lure, in every manufacturer’s arsenal, as they enable the angler toeffectivelyfish both close to the surface, by beginning the retreive immediately after the lure touches the water, or deeper, if we allow it to sink. The Gravity Minnow Sinking can be combined with Light Rock Fishing gear and in particular theSGS2 andSGS6 Ultra Light Game rods.
The addition of a lip to a fast-sinking lure, such as the Gravity Minnow FS, allows the fisherman to search and fish at all levels of the water column, starting from the surface and reaching to the deeper layers. Just let the lure sink and start the retrieve from there, or start picking up right away when it touches the water. Therefore we can say that the Gravity Minnow 50 FS is a very flexible lure, which provides solutions in many cases and perhaps the only Minnow that can fish in very strong headwinds and waves, as well as at depths where until now only planks could. It will perform well with a speedy retrieve and sharp twitches, hence it requires a quick reel and a fast rod in the Light Game category, such as the SGS2 and SGS6 Light Game rods.
The Gravity Minnow casts extremely well, even in rough weather conditions. During retrieve it produces a wobbling effect and each side flashes in an intensive manner.
