The Early for Surf have been developed as a Yamaga Spinning rod series for long casts, to meet the needs of modern anglers in harsh weather conditions. At its core, this rod series has been developed to cast far, with low weight lures and allow the angler to fish for many hours without fatigue and focused in his fishing.

In March 2021, Yamaga Blanks added two new models in the very successful Early for Surf rod series, the 105MMH/B which has been designed to transmit an increased sensing of our lure, even from a long distance and the 99ML, which is addressing the needs of finesse anglers. With a great capacity for long casts, strength and immense sensitivity, the Early for Surf was originally developed for popular in Japan species, but can also target the Mediterranean Seabass, small Amberjacks and various other species in the Mediterranean.

Even though the For Surf rod series has been designed and developed by Yamaga Blanks for fishing in difficult weather conditions, the parabolic action of these rods during casting enables them to perform even when the weather is calm with the fish being active away from the shore. The blanks of the Yamaga Early for Surf have been developed to achieve the maximum casting distance, encompass the necessary strength to handle a tough fighting opponent and the sensitivity to adopt to the every changing conditions.

The blank of the 99ML possesses casting properties, similar to a 10 ft class rod. In addition its blank is sensitive enough to transmit vital information about the currents and bottom structures.

One characteristic that will impress you about the Yamaga Blanks Early for Surf is the diversity of lures it can properly handle. From a Soft lure rigged with a jig head (around 18 gr), to small 9 – 12 cm hard body Minnows and sinking Pencils, anglers will also be able to experience a more finesse approach, with light weight (12 gr) Vibs for delicate situations. At the same time this rod can cast and handle lures in the range of 35 gr, with finer lines than usual. Are you a fan of Metal jigs, weighing more than 30 gr?
