Conceptualized based on the Japanese philosophy of Jigging, but developed to suit the modern jigging styles, especially the way they are practiced in the Mediterranean, the Savage Gear SGS2 targets the big species of the deep.
These rods have a unique, progressively bending curve, to give a truly alive action to your jig and help you feel every movement of the lure, whether metal, hard, or soft.
The distribution of the guides has been in such a way, as to allow the braid to flow smoothly along the blank and to capitalize on its entire length. The powerhouse blanks, made of Toray High Modulus Carbon, can handle any monster that you are able to hook, even on harsh and rough sea conditions; they just give you the torque you need.
The Savage Gear SGS2 Jigging Trigger rod can be combined with Baitcasting and Multiplier reels.
