The weight bias is towards the tail of the lure, which makes for a long casting lure, which then sits ‘head up’ on the water surface. But at the same time the Feed Popper is a sinking Popper. We would not expect anything short from Tackle House. Possibly the most effective retrieve, is to give the rod a hard twitch, which causes the cupped face to make a loud pop. By continuing to do this in a start stop manner the Feed Popper becomes a very effective lure which can be fished in surprisingly choppy conditions. If you accidentally pause you will notice that the lure, will start sinking, just below the surface. Retrieve it and you will notice a trail of bubbles and vibrations. In short, the Tackle House Feed Popper allows you to apply more strategies and achieve more realism than a classic Popper that simply floats. Combine retrieving techniques, let it sink then abruptly twitch it, for an incredibly realistic result.

The weight sphere sometimes moves like a pendulum, sometimes rotates around an axis, and causes irregular actions that are different in quality from conventional plugs.
