The Tailwalk Tai Game Wide VTN 64 reel has a wide body, a 75mm single power handle and the strength to fight tough battles in the deep. The body of the original Wide Tailwalk reel series, which is highly regarded amongst fishermen for drag force, smoothness and durability, has been reduced in weight. Although it has a wide body, it weighs only 260 gr, but has a max braid capacity of 400m of PE1.
The gear ratio of 6.4:1 and the winding retrieve of 78 cm per crank, produced by the 39 mm diameter spool can set hooks even in big depths.
The Tailwalk Tai Game features a star drag system, which allows for micro adjustments during the fight and the drag clicking sound informs you for any adjustment made.
Smoothness is a benefit that makes this Tailwalk reel, stand out from the crowd.
The design of the spool, is also unique, as it creates an extra level, that adds 100m to the capacity of the reel. You will notice that the spool has a vertical side and an extra lip surface at an angle. If you fill up the spool up with PE 1, up to the end of the side wall, then the reel will bear 300 m of braided line. But you can continue filling up the spool and take advantage of the inclined lip and add another 100 m to the reels capacity. Tailwalk has designed the spool in a way that prevents very fine threads to get tangled up between the body of the reel and the spool.
