During casting, the piston moves to the lures tail, shifting the center of gravity, resulting in the shot reaching record distances. As soon as the bait falls in the water, the spring pushes the weight forward, transferring the center of gravity again, so that the swimming motion becomes natural and balance is restored, as the retrieval commences. In the end, the Shimano Ocea Head Dip can achieve very long casts, improved accuracy and maintain its balance in rough water conditions.

The compact size of the Head Dip 140F, also features the exclusive Shimano Flash Boost technology in the body for increased attraction and the head up buoyancy enables the lure to be hung in the surface layers whilst still flashing.
