After the exemplary functionality and efficiency of the treble hooks that has used in its lures, Savage Gear, for a number of years now, provides to its fans the option to replace their used up treble hooks with the high quality Savage SGY 2X.
The Savage SGY 2X has been designed with the aim of creating a high quality product, which will leave each fishermen extremely happy. To accomplish this, all available technologies were brought into action. The Savage Gear SGY 2X has been designed for use in saltwater, hence it was imperative to use the UAR Coating technology, a special coating that makes the metal resistant to corrosion.
It has a perfect Y shape that brings the point of the hook parallel to its body, offering direct and deep penetration and at the same time minimizes the space between the point and the shank, making it difficult for the fish to shake its head in a way that will release itself from the hook. Instant penetration is further supported by Nano Point technology, that creates very sharp and piercing tips.
The Savage Gear SGY 2X are made of reinforced, double wire providing safety and avoidance of openings. The product is completed with the matte finish, a conscious choice by Savage Gear to avoid light reflections in the water.
