The Megabass GH46 Humpback is a Tail Weighted lure, that although designed for fresh water fishing, it is an ideal lure for Mediterranean Light Rock Fishing (LRF), designed in a wide range of Trout patterns. The Humpback is a fast sinking minnow, built to dominate tough streams and furious currents, in both directions. The heavy tail weighting generates a wriggling falling action that generates bites even on the fall, in deep, rocky shores. Rear-weighting also enables long casts, to points that conventional minnows could never reach. Its long, smooth flight distance and attitude greatly reduce line instability when the lure hits the water and starts to move.
Designed primarily for stable retrieves, with, or against currents, anglers can spice up their presentation with twitches and jerks to create an escape action, that attract bites. In deeper water beds these lures show their true potential by reaching the action zone faster than conventional minnows, tracking through currents. When retrieved with high speed and at each twitch, the Megabass Humpback produces an intensive rolling action.
The Great Hunting Humpback Megabass LRF lures are taller than conventional small minnows, but have a thinner body. Despite its small size, the taller humpback produces a flashing action, to bring discerning predators to the table.
