We know that fish often hunt for reasons other than feeding. It is not uncommon for Seabass to chase a large-sized lure. It’s his silhouette and weighting that give him a very natural, balanced movement.
For some catches, such as Barracuda, the size of the lure matters and a fish in the shape and size of the Master Jerk S190 is a favorite target. Large Blue fish, Barracuda, Seabass, Mahi Mahi, Dentex can become its predators.
The main feature of the Master Jerk is the weight-to-volume ratio, which ensures long casts, but also a smooth, harmonious motion that guarantees efficiency, even in the presence of side currents. The ability of this particular lure to achieve long casts is largely due to its weight which is 36 grams.
Inside there are moving spheres. During casting, the spheres move to the back of the lure. During recovery, they are secured in a special case, in front, to keep the center of gravity low, maintain balance and also produce provocative sounds with every jerk.
Methods of Retrieve
Jerking: Begin and end each retrieve with pauses between the jerks. Increase the frequency of pauses and intensity of the jerks as the fish become more aggressive.
