The hook eye is specially designed to withstand the tackle and interaction with large fish, and is about twice as strong as the conventional model. The large-diameter design allows for the attachment of large rings, ensuring a secure range of motion between the ring and hook and preventing problems such as the ring locking up, damaging the lure, and causing fish to escape.
