The Major Craft First Jig Slow is an easy to handle jig, ideal for beginners in Vertical Slow Jigging techniques. It falls in a horizontal position, with a sliding action, like a descending leaf, exposing each side and creating flashes that attract active predators.
The shape of the First Jig Slow is non symmetric. On side resembles a boats keel and is round, while the other is comprised of two flat sides, intersecting each other. This design makes it easy to make a jig with a front center of gravity, turn slightly to the sides, allowing for a stable, almost horizontal action.
The Slow First Jig is already rigged with double, Japanese Assist Hooks, on a solid ring. The Assist Hook Gexus, has amazing penetrating properties and is made in Japan. Even a short bite will surely bring a hook up.
