The Savage Gear Minnow Weedless Jighead is no ordinary jig head. It will ensure the perfect action for your silicone lure, making it come up on the retrieve and stand-up when resting on the bottom. A perfect match is with the Savage Gear weedless bodies.
It features a strong, click-on connection for the interchangeable EWG hook. The EWG hooks have been very popular for many years. You can easily tell them apart from the extra wide gap and from the tip of the hook, being directly in line with the eye of the hook. With a regular Texas-rig, the point of the hook is pushed through the entire cross section of the bait and when a bass bites the lure, the plastic bait is pushed down exposing the point. To ensure that the hook pushes through the body of the silicone lure and that it connects deep in the fish’s mouth, Savage Gear lifted the tip at a higher level than the eye and also incorporated a wider opening on the lures back. This way, you can not miss a fish.
The Savage Gear Minnow Weedless Jighead also features the Pro Peg body holder, that makes it possible to peg the body of the lure, to the jig head, with a toothpick, creating a simple and secure hold.
