The mini octopus jig, IIyan with Lead has been developed by Yo-Zuri to fish in the bottom. The jig has a lead attached to it, which functions as a ballast, for long distance casting and for sliding the lure on the bottom. The secret of the iiyan, lays in the air chambers in the upper part of the lure, so the body does not turn over even in water and retains its stability.
The design is characterized by versatility, as the swivel, snap and lead can be removed, to use the lure as a squid jig.
The IIyan tends to sink slowly, has limited buoyancy, maintaining a horizontal position once it reaches the bottom. The action is generated through a very slow retrieve.
