Major Craft could not, but to utilize the latest technological developments in developing value for money Eging rods series, so that today we can hold in our hands an EgiZaust rod 1G series. The EgiZaust rod series has been designed solely for Eging and allows the total and complete handling of squid jigs, without the easy losses, that can occur due to the softness of their tentacles.
The guides that these rods have been equipped with are amongst the best in the market and in particular, Stainless Steel Fuji K Guide series, with SiC ceramics. These guides allow the braid to flow freely amongst the guides, improving the casting distance and improving the sensitivity of the rod. The reel base is Fuji VSS.
Models EZ1-S862M & EZ1-S862ML are equipped with a solid tip and are more compatible for “Shore Tip Runs” and catching squids with the tip of the rod. They can be used with size 3 and 3.5 squid jigs and will allow the angler to feel the squid punching. These models will be a strong ally in extremely low activity areas without causing any discomfort. They are also ideal for fishing squids, using lures of size 2 or smaller. The solid tip absorbs unnecessary rod movement caused by waves and wind, making it possible to keep the lure stable and makes it easier to detect bites.
Models 832ML, 832M, 862ML & 862M are tubular, lightweight models, easy to handle, eging rods, that can easily cast squid jigs of size 3 and 3.5. EZ1-832M is a lightweight model, shorter than the 862, so light and easy to use all day long, especially in shallow water. The EZ1-862M is a standard, all-rounder rod, that can be used throughout the year and a length setting that can be used in all fields, from long, to tight infornt of your feet.
