The Ecooda company, has developed a wide range of rods, tailor made for Tai-Rubber style, called by the Greek word, Exairetika, meaning Splendit, or Excellent.

The Ecooda brand was born in 2011 by Weihai Ecooda Outdoor Products Company, a high-end outdoor enterprise, specializing in research, development and marketing of sea fishing products. Ecooda as a company with a seriously advanced research and development sector (Research and Development R&D) has existed since 1982 and provides to the fishing market, top-notch fishing products.

The Tai-Rubber fishing style is a very popular technique and boat fishermen have never lost their interest in this particular type of fishing. It is one of the fishing techniques that are relaxing, efficient and can be easily performed. All of the above makes Tai-Rubber popular with the majority of recreational fishermen. Even if it is not the main fishing style for some, most certainly they own a set of Tai-Rubber gear.

To thoroughly meet the requirements of this fishing style, Ecooda has designed and developed Tai Rubber rods for every variation, depending on fishing depth and size of the catch.

All the rods in the series are made with the Twin Core Spiral structure and Carbon Cloth Crossed and Wrapped technique with extra strength, tenacity and rigidity. The guides used are Fuji K Frame A, for good heat dissipation due to braid friction. The reel seats are also Fuji.

The Ecooda Exairetika Tai Rubber rods are combined with Bait Casting reels.

Tairaba Universal Rod – Pargus

For Tai-Rubber fishing at shallow depths and targeting smaller catches, Ecooda has developed the Universal Rod Pargus range of rods, which can handle Tai-Rubber jigs up to 150g. This is a series of rods with great sensitivity, with a 0.8 mm wide tip that can immediately transmit even the smallest bite. The tips parabolic action, will give life to your jigs, making them attractive to the eyes of Red Snappers and not only those. Wrapping the blank with Carbon sheets increases the strength of the blank and produces more resistance, giving us the ability to handle even bigger opponents. The longer butt handle improves the grip and increases comfort while fishing.

Tairaba Quick-Play Rods

The Quick-Play series of rods, with a tip diameter of 0.9 mm and a Blank bending curve corresponding to 2:8 of the total length of the rod, offers clarity in bites, even in the presence of strong currents. The behavior of the Blank (that is, to work at 2:8 of its total length) offers better action of the Tai Rubber jigs, and helps to reduce the effect of currents on our rigs. In these rod variations, the butt is also long, improving the grip and increasing comfort when fishing.

Tairaba Deep Fishing

The third and heaviest series of Exairetika Tai-Rubber rods, is the Deep Fishing series, which is built to cope with the requirements of Heavy Tai-Rubber when we reach the deeper end of the water column, targeting Red Snappers, Dentex and Groupers. The Deep Fishing rod series has been designed to be able to cope with all the challenges that will be presented in Tai-Rubber fishing. The upper section, which carries all the guides and the line management that reaches up to #PE 1.5 predisposes us to be able to compete successfully, with prey that are not the main target of this fishing style, but can occasionally attack our jig, such as Amberjacks and Groupers.
