The Kraken Toy rod series has been specifically designed by Howk, for inshore squid fishing. These are very sensitive rods, with a solid tip, that allows the angler to feel any bite.
All blanks of the Kraken Toy rod series are composed of the best carbon in the Toray T1K market. The Carbon composition offers a blank with a unique combination of strength and flexibility, at an extremely light weight.
The Fuji SIC rings feature a very sturdy silicon carbide ceramic. This generates low friction, so it allows for better casts, retrieves and less wearing out of the braided line, due to temperature, in contrast to other types of rings. In addition the guides are high end, made of stainless steel. Howk has also incorporates a Fuji reel seat, that reduces the weight of the rod to a minimum, giving it great lightness and performance quality.
The final section of the handle is of ergonomic design providing also handling comfort, during the battle.
Every detail matters and therefore all Howk rods have been designed to feature a textured logo on the EVA handles, providing a seal of certification that characterizes all of Spanish companys products. Padded rod cover, with extra foam on the inside protects the Kraken Toy 86 rod, as much as possible during transportation, or storage.
