Seabass fishing takes place in a wide range of fields. Seawater, Fresh water, rivers, ports, estuaries, or rocky beaches, Seabass fishing has it all. Casts are repeated dozens of times under all kinds of conditions and terrains. It is very important for any angler, when retrieving a Seabass lure, to receive all the necessary information from the field such as currents, line twists, and terrain changes. The Ocean Gate Sea Bass have been developed using blanks with medium elasticity, that make it easy to carry the lure’s own weight when casting. At the same time their action is Fast, so they transmit to the lure every command derived from the rods tip.
Jackson produces the Ocean Gate Seabass Rods in a lineup of three models to accommodate various presentations.
The 900ML-K rod is a versatile model that can be used in most terrains in Mediterranean Spinning fishing. It is easy to handle and allows you to easily control Minnows and lightweight Pencils. It can also respond to more delicate, or technical presentations.
The906ML-K model was developed for situations where long-distance casting is important, such as wading in large rivers and tidal flats. It uses a medium-elasticity blank that allows you to feel changes in the water current when casting a sinking pencil or minnow.
The 906M-K model has been designed to handle large Plugs and high-density Vibration lure up to 42 gr, without stress, but with enough strength in the butt to handle fighting predators, such as Barracuda and Seabass. This rod can also be used with light jigs.
