5 years after the successful launch of the Al Yasat Generation 1 rods, Yasi has moved forward its experience curve in developing Slow Jigging rods, with the advice of its Field Testers in the waters of the United Arab Emirates. The result of the additional knowledge gained through in the field testing, was the improvement of the Al Yasat Jigging rod series and the development of the Generation 2 version. The Al Yasat G2 series is the companys most improved Slow Pitch Jigging rod series and a promising product for the Mediterranean.
The Al-Yasat Slow Jigging rods, have been specially designed for Slow Pitch Jigging and meet the requirements of this fishing style, as it is practiced in the region. It is particularly effective for Slow Pitch and Long Fall jerk. They are rods based on a simple design, but they have the unique ability to allow metal jigs move sideways, with extremely short jerks, due to their highly elastic blank, either with fast, or slow retrieve.
The blank of the Al Yasat G2 has been designed to achieve high levels of elasticity, sensitivity, but also strength, hence no predator is an easy match for them. The guides have been upgraded, to double legged Fuji, with a stainless steel frame and SiC ceramic material. The reel seat is also made by Japanese company Fuji for a safe placement of the reel. It is lined with high-quality, non-slip, high-density EVA material, achieving a stable and comfortable grip, even after long-hour of fishing.
The Yasi Al Yasat G2 rod is mounted with a Baitcasting, or Jigging reel and can be combined with Slow Jigging and Silicone lures with a Jig head. They have been designed for anglers who find the Slow Pitch and Long Fall Jigging styles particularly effective.
