The Balzer Adrenalin DCT7300 L Baitcasting Reel has been developed in collaboration with Norwegian professional Rainer Korn, for Northern European fishing styles and specifically for targeting Coalfish, Hake and Mackerel. This reel is equipped with Balzer Depth Control Technology (DCT for short). Baitcasting reels however, are used extensively in the Mediterranean, in boat fishing styles such as Slow Jigging, Tai Rubber and Squid fishing.
The electronic Depth Control Technology system allows you to find the desired water depth in the water column, again and again. When you get a bite briefly press the DCT button. A beep confirms that the depth has been saved. If you now lower the bait again a beep will sound when you have reached the saved depth. This allows you to find the exact position in which you previously got the bite. This system is even easier to use, especially if you are using multi-colored braided line.
An invaluable advantage when you are fishing for schooling fish such as Coalfish, Hake, Mackerel and so on, which usually stay in the middle of the water. If the school is no longer in the saved position and you find fish at a different depth simply press the DCT button and the new depth will be updated.
Balzer Adrenalin has an ultra high-speed Gear Ratio of 8.1:1.
