The Avani Seabass is a PE line of very high specifications, designed to conquer the art of Sea bass fishing. For its development, Varivas has taken advantage of numerous proprietary technologies.

Varivas has utilized MAX-PE Lines for the development of the Avani Seabass, as they are 1.3 1.5 times stronger than ordinary PE lines, providing the power to bring in fish, with less fighting time. Its 9 strands structure, make it a highly durable braided line, of high strength, offering to the angler superior handling performance and precision in controlling his lure.

The Varivas Avani Sea Bass PE x9 has been developed with the Core Input manufacturing method, in which a core of high-strength, raw fiber (high molecular weight polyethylene), has 8 strands of Max-PE fibers, wrapped around it. The Core-Input method achieves optimal stiffness and superior durability and strength. The appropriate level of stiffness of the braided line significantly reduces line troubles such as guide wraps and wind knots, making it suitable for continuous squid fishing sessions all day long.

The Vertical Braid method achieves exceptional linear strength and an ultra-low stretch rate of just 3%. This ultra-low stretch can precisely convey even the slightest bites from small squid accurately to the angler. Furthermore, its outstanding linear strength minimizes the effects of currents and wind, enhancing cast accuracy.

The SP-T II Coating significantly increases durability and low water absorption, by covering the line’s surface with a resin layer. The improved water-shedding capabilities allow the line to maintain its high performance, even with jigging movements, where the line is subject to abrasion.

The SP-V is Varivas Coating process which smoothens the line. Casting distances will increase as a result and will drastically reduce line troubles as well. It is an environmentally friendly, original, non-fluorine coating, that creates a protective film on the surface, preventing water absorption and deterioration, improves abrasion resistance.

Varivas has finally incorporated a highly visible marking system, which allows the angler to track the movement of the lure, through the way the line is moving, facilitating precision in squid fishing. For every meter of braided line, 80 cm is White and 20 cm is Purple in color.
