Compared to jig heads of the same size, the DJ-Head 31 has a slimmer shank, however, due to the use of calibrated, high-carbon steel, it has high elasticity and reliability and can confidently withstand critical loads.
To improve the penetrating properties of the hook and protect it from corrosion, a PTFE anti-corrosion coating has been applied. The Intech DJ-Head 31 jig head features a long shank, making it perfect for rigging massive silicone baits.
Another important element of any jig head is the system for fixing the bait on it. The Intech Tournament DJ-Head 31 uses two, tapered, coned shape skirts. They reliably hold the lure in place and but not damage the head part, even of delicate, soft baits with a loose consistency. The Intech Tournament DJ-Head 31 is a top choice amongst sphere shaped jig heads, designed for long and bulky silicone lures, for a confident fight with strong fish.

The exceptional sharpness and the long lasting duration of the sharpness, is the result of a special treatment of the hooks point. Traditionally, offset hooks have an anti-corrosion PTFE coating, which reliably protects the hook from rust, especially in a salty environment, and also preserves penetrating properties. Intech applies a similar treatment called Forged Barb.
An important element of any jig-head is the bait-fixing system on it. Intech Tournament DJ-Head 31 uses a cone-shaped thin skirt. It securely fixes the bait, while not damaging the head part, even in delicate edible lures with loose consistency.
