The BG Rock Fishing rod series, has been redesigned and a number of constructive changes have taken place, which can be seen. For example the part of the butt section covered with EVA material is longer and a new reel seat has been developed by Daiwa engineers, using Fuji parts. It is called Air Sensor reel seat. Daiwa Air Sensor reel seats are made of carbon fiber. This makes them lighter, stronger, and maximizes rod sensitivity. These pure carbon reel seats cannot be machined like standard models. They are designed with specialized tools, paying the utmost attention to design and shape. These are the latest generation of extremely precise components. An exclusive Daiwa technology.
he powerful blanks of the Daiwa BG RF have been designed in the High Modulus HVF Carbon blanks, featuring the x 45 Cross-wrapped technology, for even more bending and torque resistance and a faster recovery to their initial shape. For the development of HVF Carbon blanks, Daiwa reduces the amount of resin and increases the degree of fusion of carbon fibers, during the polymerization phase.
They are fitted with Fuji Alconite Concept O guides, hence the BG rods meet the demands of any in shore situation.
Aesthetically speaking, the BG series come in a classic black color with golden elements to match their heritage and look not only feel – like top-of-the-range. The legendary BG label stands for Black Gold and these rods have been given a finish to match this – they look like top-end rods.
