Hull Profile Description:

This 2024 Boulder Boat Works High Side Dory is ideal for those high gradient freestone rivers and wave trains. The 35 bow helps blast through those standing waves and keep lateral waves at bay. Our signature rocker profile allows the boat to stay nimble with a shorter wet line and our pronounced chines help hold your line with little effort. The High Side is the do-it-all hull in our lineup that can tackle anything thrown its way but may not be the best option for those slower tailwater rivers with prevalent wind.

Model Description:

The Guide Model is our stripped-down interior configuration replacing most of the white ash interior wood components with the more modular NRS Unbendable Frame Kit. This build keeps the boat lighter than our Pro Guide and provides the ability to make more micro-adjustments to the benches and oarlocks. The Guide is also the lowest priced model in our fleet, providing the benefits of our hull material and construction processes with less maintenance.

Construction Overview:

Hull:Our hand welded hulls are designed and built to withstand the toughest conditions at the lowest of waters. The natural buoyancy, flexibility, and quiet nature are all major benefits of our signature lightweight sand shadepolymer hull. These benefits of our HDPE hull are what sets Boulder Boat Works boats apart from other manufacturers.

Structure: The white ash wood components have been finished with Linex throughout, providing robust protection without the need for mandatory refinishing of our epoxy finished wood. The NRS frame kit allows for modular adjustments of seating positions and oar towers. The rest of our interior components throughout the boat are hand milled and welded to provide a uniform look and lightweight feel of the boat. Stainless steel hardware is used throughout the boat to eliminate any corrosion or rust.
