The Colmic Proxima is a telescopic rod, for Pole fishing, for use both in seawater and lake water. It is an excellent choice for anglers who use line thicknesses of up to 0.18mm, but address larger fish.
The Proxima is not the typical telescopic rod, for everyday use. Italian company Colmic, with long experience in fresh water fishing, has developed the Proxima with extra reinforcement, coming from spiral carbon coils. The cross windings make the telescopic rod, even more robust and forgive errors, such as placing too much strain on it. The blank is made with the highest quality materials, such as “Pro Force Carbon & Carbon ULAF” and thanks to its medium stiff action, is an outstanding choice for catching big fish in rivers, or fishing from the shoreline.The finish of the rod also looks elegant.
Whether you are fishing from the bank, or from a boat, fishing the most common models are the 6m and 7m rods. The 8m version is great for deep waters when you can expect large Breams, or Carp.
