The Daiwa Emeraldas Amorous Joint squid jigs feature an innovative jointed structure, that makes them unique in their action.
The jointed body produces a seductive and smooth Dolphin, or Crustacean action, one that has never been seen in Eging before. The Emeraldas Amorous sways up and down, a motion which could not be reproduced with conventional Eging squid jigs. At the same time, it produces a clicking sound that sounds like a rattle and appeals to large squids.
They are also extremely versatile thanks to the double eyelet, The Daiwa Emeraldas Amorous features two eye positions for different actions: attaching a snap to the nose line eye creates a vertical action, while attaching a snap to the head line eye produces a sliding action. The front ring is for the standard Eging fishing style, while the upper ring will provide an arching motion when jerking, which is helpful to keep the lure deeper for longer time. If you rig the Emeraldas from the upper ring you will feel the resistance on the tip of your rod, allowing for more and better control of the lure, especially in rough water conditions.
When the squid strikes, the joint part follows the movement of the squid, reducing the chance of it escaping.
It is equipped with super sharp, Japanese made, Kanna hooks, crafted from high-quality Japanese materials for superior sharpness and precision.
