Japanese company Daiwa, does not only follow, but leads developments in the international fishing field. In that context, it presents one of its most successful rod series, the Grandwave Off Shore Cast Jigging version.

Daiwa designed the Grandwave Off Shore exclusively for the newly introduced in Europe and ever-growing style of boat casting. The Grandwave Off Shore rod will allow you to tackle all types of lures, such as Poppers, Jigs, Extra Long Heavy lures, as well as Soft Baits from the comfort of your boat. The action of the Daiwa Grandwave is excellent and has the ability for very long and precise casts, as required in the Off Shore technique. At the same time it provides the angler with direct contact with the lure, or silicone bait, so you can feel every contact it makes with the predators.

Aesthetically, the Grandwave Off Shore rod is no different from the first series, with the characteristic Chameleon Blue-Purple color and blue thread bindings. The Daiwa Grandwave features seven Fuji Triple Legged K-Type guides, with a carbon stainless steel frame and Fazlite ceramic material for less friction of the braided line.

The reel seat is Fuji DPS, which securely embraces the heel of any fixed drum (Spinning) reel, resulting in absolute stability during the fight, even with unexpectedly large opponents.

The rod consists of two sections. The upper section includes all the guides, while the lower section has the reel seat and the butt. This offers the rod added strength compared to rods of equal length sections. The EVA material of the Butt is extremely dense, offering comfort and a secure grip when fishing.

X45: This manufacturing process is the superposition of spiral carbon fibers (90 ), unidirectional fibers (0 ) on three layers and two carbon layers laid by two opposite helical windings (45 ). These two additional crosswinds gave the name of Bias Cross Wrap. The X45 carbon winding adopts an elasticity and a return to the initial shape whatever the angle of the loading of the blank.

HVF: Reduction of the quantity of resin and increase of the degree of adhesion of the carbon fibers during the hot polymerization phase.

The carbon blank has been developed with the Braiding X technology, which provides a special carbon fibers reinforcement, at a 45 angle with respect to the axis. Braiding X wrap increases the strength and reliability of the blank. Its action is progressive.
