As is expected with the release of a new version of a flagship model, the 2022 Daiwa Saltiga reel benefits from new technologies, aimed at improving the anglers experience and fishing performance of this exceptional product. The key concept lies in the so-called “Hyperdrive” design, which brings together four key points of reel reinforcement. The Hyper Drive design concept, comprises a combination of different manufacturing techniques, which considerably improve the functioning and the lifespan of a baitcasting reel.
The Hyper Drive Digigear, represents an engineering evolution, with precise machining of C6191 bronze, a lightweight and 1.6 times stronger material compared to Dura-aluminum, aiming to improve cranking power without affecting the fluid motion of the reel.
