The Daiwa Emeraldas reels come in various versions, either with double, or with single handle. The aesthetics result in adding the Gomexus handle, is simply amazing.

Why would anyone replace the reel handle of the manufacturer with the Gomexus Double Spinning Reel handle? For three very important reasons:

• There are fishing techniques, such as Eging, or retrieving styles that need to be executed at a low speed. If your reel has a high Gear Ratio, you might not be able to fish productively. So you are faced with two options: either to change the reel, or change the handle. The Gomexus Double Reel Handle performs a circle of a smaller radius, hence the circumference is shorter. As a result the speed of your reel, is significantly lower, compared to single handles.
• The second benefit has to do with the pace of the retrieve. The double handle enables the angler to perform a steady retrieve, to keep the speed stable, especially under slow retrieve. The Gomexus Double Handle (creates a counter balance) and is not automatically rotated because of its weight. This allows for better line slack control and controlled speed.
• The third reason has to do with the speed by which you can find and grap the reel’s handle, after continuous twitches.

These handles have been developed by top quality, aluminum material, of low weight and great strength. The knobs are made of non-slippery TPE material, smooth to the touch feeling.
