Free Spirit have sought to offer the best quality possible at any given price by keeping check on overheads and putting as much as possible into the product. With the new Helical range of carp rods, we believe you will be shocked at the quality of these at the price point they hit.
Using a blend of carbons from Hankook and Toray with a helical wrapped finish produces a blank that fulfils the promise of casting and fish playing whilst keeping it light and slim. As with all Free Spirit rods the finish is free from any paint or lacquer to maintain appearance for many years.
The build they have opted for is very modern build with black reel seat`s and black framed stainless-steel guides with a subtle red tipping around the logo. All rods feature abbreviated handles with DPS style size 18 reel seats and black Acetile collars and butt cap.
There are 5 rods in the range, one 10 3lb with 40mm butt guide and size 12 anti-frap tip guide. which suits smaller waters, impromptu sessions or when you want to travel light and theres a 10 SPM to match. There are three 12 rods, the 3lb and 3.25lb make great all-rounders and a 3.50lb for distance or weedy conditions or when going overseas, all feature 50mm ringing to 16 anti-frap tip. The 13 SU is capable of serious distances and rung with 50mm to 16 anti-frap tip.
There are matching SPMs in 10′ and 12 to compliment the range.
