The FCV 600 and FCV 800 are new Fish Finders replacing the FCV 628 and FCV 588. The Furuno FCV-600 and FCV-800 fishfinders have a portrait orientation display, exhibiting the water column with a high level of vertical detail, in addition to maximizing screen size, where limited mounting space is available.

While the conventional models have been utilized in a variety of market segments, from compact recreational boats to coastal, commercial fishing boats, these new models FCV-600 & FCV-800 offer more features with the latest technologies, which have been developed for the built in Fish Finders of NavNet TZtouch3 series. Now the ACCU-Fish and Bottom Discrimination functions are available in both shallow and deep water. The FCV-800 combines the power of TruEcho Chirp with a host of revolutionary identification technologies, to clearly distinguish fish from other structures, such as the seabed or reefs. Additionally, it allows you to use TruEcho Chirp and CW technologies, such as bottom discrimination and ACCU-FISH, together for added capabilities.

You will catch the upscale impression with just one look at the front panel, with the Piano Black Screen with Keypad. The display consists of the piano black front panel, covered with glass in combination with the keypad. Their appearance is consistent with the recently released NavNet TZtouch3 series displays. The bright of the FCV 800, LCDs of 8.4 with Improved Screen Resolutions maintains the clear screen resolution of VGA (800 x 600) with an improved screen brilliance of 800 cd/m.

The FCV-800 is the first fishfinder that can be simultaneously connected to two transducers (Standard and Chirp) and display their readings in one screen. This means that you can access functions Accufish and BDS at the same time. On the other hand, the smaller model FCV-600 can be connected to either a Standard, or a Chirp transducer, but not at the same time.

TruEcho Chirp

Boost your catch with TruEcho Chirp, Furuno’s revolutionary broadband features. The FCV-800 combines the power of TruEcho Chirp with a host of revolutionary identification technologies, to clearly distinguish fish from other structures, such as the seabed, or reefs. This helps you fish more effectively than ever before.

If you have already installed a GPS Plotter Furuno GP1971, or GP1871 on your boat and you want to capitalize on the new technologies advantages and enjoy the benefits of a longer display, you can connect the transducers on the FCV-800 and link the two devices via a NMEA0183 network. This way you can mark a target on the FCV and link its coordinates to the GPS Plotter.

Traditional CW (Continuous Wave) Fish Finders transmit a signal composed of a single frequency, while Chirp Fish Finders transmit a linear frequency modulated signal – a wave with a frequency that increases over time. The FCV-600 and FCV-800 can utilize a broadband transducer to transmit across a spectrum of frequencies, resulting in better target resolution. By combining Furunos TruEcho Chirp and traditional CW transducers, youll see crisp Chirp echoes on the screen. while the ACCU-Fish and Bottom Discrimination functions, overlaying important information so you will be able to see fish targets, assess fish size, fish depth and bottom composition.

Color Expansion

With Color Range Expansion, the range of identifiable echoes is expanded, so you can intuitively identify bottom fish from the seabed. Reefs, structure, and fish near the seabed are shown in slightly separated colors, making it easy to tell structure from fish at a glance.

Wireless Connectivity

A second display can be installed to show the echoes and NAV data from the FCV-600 and FCV-800 via wireless network, so you can monitor the underwater situation from the stern, or bow while fishing.The new models FCV-600 and FCV-800 allow for connection to a Smartphone, or Tablet via Wi-Fi and through an application the ability for a second screen, video recording, or image saving.

New Colors

Sunlight and Yellow color schemes, offer enhanced visibility under bright sunlight conditions. While adding new colors to the FCV-600 and FCV-800, some colors are removed compared to the previous models.
