The most notable feature is the well-crafted, ultra-lightweight blank. Made with Olympics innovative manufacturing technologies, such as the “Quattro Graphite Cross XX” and the G-Maps manufacturing method to create a lightweight, high-strength blank, boasting Japanese quality. Every aspect of the Graphiteleader Calamaretti rod, whether it is the action, or the guides has been updated to match the needs of modern Eging anglers.

The butt has been designed to possess strength, so as to create sharp darting jerks. It is available in various models to cover a wide range of Egis, from size 2.0 to 4.5.

The 20GCALS-882ML is an Eging rod that bends and catches squid, with its delicate tip and its M-class, butt power. The 2.64m length shows its true potential on offshore rocks piers. It is a highly versatile rod model that can be used during both spring and autumn fishing, periods during which, the size of squids and cuttlefish, differs.

The 23GCALS-862ML-HS is a Hard Solid Tip rod, with the tip guide wrapped in highly visible fluorescent orange thread. It can detect changes in the currents and even the slightest bite, making it a great rod for night Eging. This model can be called a Sensor rod, picking up bites with a crisp, ultra-tip action.

Quattro Graphite Cloth XX Technology

By weaving Carbon fibers in a 45 Cross direction, the blank becomes more uniform and the density is improved. The thicker molding provides better resistance to bending, twisting and compression. This allows the blank to quickly return to its original shape, minimizing energy loss and achieving a good bounce, ability to respond to multi-directional twitches, increase casting distance and accuracy.

All Graphiteleader Calamaretti models have been developed using lightweight Titanium frame guides. All guides use Torzite rings, except the Top guide which is SiC, to reduce rod vibration and weight.

The top guides (from the top to #4) of the 23GCALS-862ML-HS are wrapped with a thread in a highly visible twilight color.

The joint uses a high-precision, spigot ferrule (spigot joint) to achieve a smooth bending curve.

A lightweight and slim VSS reel seat has been installed, with an uplock system. The 752ML uses Olympics original carbon reel seat “OP-02” with an uplock system. It is a highly sensitive reel seat, of low weight, allowing for delicate handling of squid jigs.

The Calamaretti features a split grip made of EVA material, which has excellent strength and corrosion resistance.
