Japanese company Ima, has developed a series of lures, each one of which can be adapted to any condition of bottom morphology, currents and depth. Ima’s suggestion for bass fishing, in relatively deep areas, when fish move close to the bottom, is the Ataru 80S lure. An 8 cm sinking Minnow, weighing 11 grams, with a very compact body, which because of the two moving spheres inside, will achieve incredibly long casts.
Its wide lip has been designed to offer a dive of 1 to 1.5 meters. The special feature of this lure, is the change of its underwater motion, depending on the retrieving speed. In slow retrieves, it will produce a smooth and calm Rolling motion, while at higher speeds, an open Wobbling which usually provokes even the most suspicious, large Bass. If you are retrieving at fast speed with pauses, in a Stop n Go pattern, then the IMA Ataru 80s will move from side to side, in a zig zag pattern.
The treble hooks with which IMA equipped this lure, are No.6 in size, of high quality and resistant to seawater corrosion.
