Major Craft developed a dedicated, Giant Killing rod model for Jigging with an Electric Reel, to enjoy full-scale jigging. Such rods require a dedicated blank, essential for jigging with an electric reel, where tension is constantly applied, as the electric reel is retrieving the line.
The Giant Killing 1G has been designed to be highly functional in all aspects relevant to a jigging rod: handling, sensitivity, and tenacity. This is a dedicated rod that reduces the burden on anglers. Jigging allows you to target a variety of fish, but for anglers who are physically challenged by this demanding style, it is recommended to use an electric reel. The differentiating factor, in a jigging rod mounted with an electric reel, is the low-response blank. A low response blank, requires less effort during jerking, or retrieving and prevents the lure from moving more excessively than you expect.
Even if you adjust the winding speed of the electric reel, or jerk it at a constant winding speed, unlike a manual reel, the rod continues to be under tension, which puts a strain on the angler. Therefore, the Giant Killing 1G Electric Jigging model, uses interrupted carbon, which bends firmly. Even when fighting with large fish, the tenacity of the blank will lift the fish.
Rod GK1EJ-B63/4 is recommended for fishing with jigs, of around 250g in areas with a depth of around 100m. It can be used for technical jigging, while adjusting the speed of the electric reel, or for jigging with a constant speed jerk.
The GK1EJ-B63/6 is recommended for electric jigging, using jigs of around 300g, or more in areas with a depth of 150m, with fast currents.
All rods Include a belt for the electric reels cable. The reel seat is by Fuji.
