The R360 Structure allows the angler to minimize his input to the rod when he works his lure, reducing the strain on his body, but allowing full control over the lures action. This has been achieved by rearranging the carbon arrangement, from the tip to the butt. The 5G is a manufacturing method, adopting the “R360 Structure”. The carbon fiber orientation is arranged toward all axis directions:

• Straight Vertical
• Side Horizontal
• Fade – Diagonal Right
• Draw – Diagonal Left

The arrangement of Carbon fibers in all directions, created an ultra-lightweight blank, that combines power and torque. Unlike the conventional carbon tape reinforcement on the blanks surface, the blank itself is composed of carbon sheets, laid in the multi-axis directions. It is a blank structure, that can respond to any force applied in a 360 degrees angle, hence it helps the rods blank section adopt to the situation.

For the development of the 5G rods, Major Craft utilized the T1100G carbon sheets by Toray Industries. The T1100G is a nano-level carbon fiber material, that achieves both high strength and high elasticity modulus. It is a latest technology carbon material, used in the field of aerospace or in aircraft applications (such as the tail of planes and floor beams of Boeing 777s), where extreme performance is required. The difference between the T1100G Torayca material and other composite materials is that when compared (Load vs Strain), they both behave identically until the maximum load, after which the T1100G resin shows a significant increase in energy absorption, offering 13% higher-strength and 10% higher-elasticity.

Even in the restricted conditions of a boat, where casting distance is important, the 5G blank reduces the rod’s repulsive power and vibration, allowing you to cast as you wish. You will be able to fight with the power to firmly hook migratory fish.

With the GK5C-74/2 you can target Bluefish and Migratory fish. It is recommended to be used with Minnows and sinking Pencils up to 40g with PE line No.1-2. The 74/2 can also handle metal jigs, top water plugs and blade jigs up to 50g. The blank is compatible with a wide range of fishing styles and has butt power to withstand unexpected large fish.

The GK5C-76/3 model is recommended for use with PE line up to No.3 and with sinking Pencils up to 50g, Top Water Plugs and metal Jigs up to 60g. It features a flexible tip and butt power that can withstand the intense fights.

The GK5C-76/4 rod is recommended for targeting 10kg class Tuna, and Bonito using PE line 3.0 4.0 and Plugs up to 60g. This model features butt power that can withstand fierce fights against ocean migratory fish, and a flexible tip that provides excellent operability with sinking Pencils.

All three models are mounted with Spinning reels.
