The Nomad Design Squidtrex lure is an internationally unique, squid scented, soft TPE Squid lure. There has never been a lure that can do what the Squidtrex does. The Nomad Design Squidrex combines a soft vibration lure into a squid shaped body.
It can be jigged vertically both fast and slow, or cast and retrieved like a vibe. It can be jigged vertically, cast or even trolled.
The soft TPE construction, allows for strength and durability, matched with realistic movement of the tentacles, which waft and wiggle in the water, to entice bites when sinking, or even at rest. The Nomad Design Squidtrex can be fished at rest, or in a rod holder and is super effective. The Squidtrex can be fished vertically like a jig, or cast and retrieved like a vibe. The weight placement allows the Squidtrex to be trolled with a crazy vibrating wobble at medium to high speeds. It can also be cast towards structures, or feeding fish and worked back subsurface on a straight, or stop start retrieve. With a body design that sinks fast, without spinning, vibrates hard on the lift and has enticing tentacles, that come alive at the slightest flick of the rod tip. The Squidtrex can be fished at almost any speed, from fast jigging, to dead sticking.
The Squidtrex is built by Nomad Design to be tough, with Gorilla Through Wire construction, durable TPE material, rigged with BKK heavy duty, twin assist hooks and comes squid scented for extra bite appeal. The additional eyelet on the belly, allows for additional hook placement.
It is available in various sizes and various colors, including UV glow finishes. The Nomad Design Squidtrex comes in sizes that cover the vast majority of fishing styles in the Mediterranean, starting from the 5 gr model for Light Rock Fishing, the 8 gr for Light Spinning, all the way to the heaviest model at 128 gr for Trolling or Jigging.
