The Palms GIG Sinking 100S and 120S are versatile lures that will perform extremely well, in wavy shores, but also in estuaries and deep bays. Not only their size (10 and 12 cm) makes them easy to be used by all anglers, in various presentations, but their design has been based on the creation of a lure that can handle waves, currents and rough weather conditions.
The 10, or 12 cm body is the perfect size for any predator. Although it has a solid rolling action, it resembles in the eyes of predators a weak bait, with a difficulty to move naturally due to changes in water flow. These fluctuations are common for fish that are sick, making them the perfect target.
Although they are sinking lures, they can be casted and quickly retrieved to skip on the water surface.
The Palms GIG Gigant lure targets large fish, hence it can also be used as an offshore model, with an enlarged treble hook size, while retaining the minnow-like silhouette.
Palms equipped the GIG with a treble hook, that is significantly larger than those of similar lures. Palms also incorporated in the GIG lures, the Mag Mounting System to prevent the belly hook, from getting caught on the back of the lure. By attracting the hook with magnetic force, it keeps the hook in the belly and reduces trouble.
Furthermore, the strength has been increased by adding a wire through its body, which enables safe fighting without compromising flight distance, or action.
You can tackle large targets, either in, or off shore, with the Palms Gig Gigant Hook lure.
