Therefore, a single 12.8V LiFePO4 50Ah battery has a usable capacity, almost equivalent to that of a single 12V 100Ah lead-acid battery.
• Power Queen LifePo4 50Ah battery weighs about 5.24 kg and has dimensions of 19.8 x 16.6 x 17 cm, which means a lot less weight and smaller size, compared to a 50Ah AGM battery system. By using LiFePO4 batteries, you save a lot of space and weight compared to a lead-acid battery system with the same usable capacity.
• With advanced BMS, Power Queen 50Ah LiFePO4 12V battery has 5 protections to ensure safety and extend battery life. Power Queen 50Ah LiFePO4 battery has a lifespan of 10 years compared to a 100Ah lead acid battery which has a lifespan of 2 years.
• The BMS also supports 0.5C (25A) charger that needs only 5 hours to fully charge a 50Ah battery, with a 10A charger, compared to Lead Acid which needs 10~11 hours to be fully charged.

To summarize Lithium batteries perform better and last longer than many lead-acid batteries. They weigh less and take up less room. They can provide a higher percentage of nominal capacity than lead-acid batteries, without shortening their life. They maintain voltage through almost all the discharge cycle. Lithium batteries last up to 10 times longer than their lead acid counterparts and they still provide 80% capacity after 2000 cycles.

Lithium batteries have to be charged with a special charger. Although any commercial Lithium charger can be used, their longevity and smooth operation require the use of a specialized charger. The Power Queen LifePo4 12.8V 50Ah battery is suggested to be charged by the company’s 10A charger.

If you connect your Electric Anchor to a Lithium-Ion battery, while fishing, then a useful accessory that will continuously feed the lithium battery with current, is a Li-Ion battery Charge Controller. The Li-Ion Battery Charge Controller is connected between the Lithium battery and another energy source, which in most cases is a Lead Acid 12V 36V Battery, or a Solar Panel.
